A stray cat invaded the Police Department, in Columbia, South Carolina, the clever cat has a pretty straightforward way of getting exactly what he wants.
“This furry feline stopped by CPD West Region to say we were posting too many dog pictures and needed to show cats some love also,” the police department said.

The officers suspect that the cat had family of his own nearby, but even after they send the cat back at his way, the cat was there again the next day. Officer Brandon Montgomery, arriving to the station after taking the weekend off, first became acquainted with him.

“Whenever an officer would go in or out, he would run back inside real quick,” Montgomery told The Dodo. “He wanted to be pet and held. He likes being on shoulders, very much. He’ll climb right up.”

Brandon posted pictures online in hope that the cat’s owner would see and take the cat home, but no one came so he decided to adopt the cat instead of sending him to the animal shelter.
“It worked out for him,” he said. “It definitely worked out.”
